Marc Ellinger successfully ensured that Jefferson County Collector Republican candidate, Shannon Roden, will be on the ballot for the August 2nd election. Roden’s opponent attempted to remove her from the ballot on paperwork issues. Ellinger successfully argued that Roden is in fact qualified for candidacy, and that her filings reflect that. Through trial and hearing in Jefferson County and the Missouri Eastern District Court of Appeals, Ellinger prevailed in getting the case dismissed and Roden on the ballot.
