ENERGY AND UTILITIES

OVERVIEW

We have represented  public utilities, state agencies, municipalities, landowners, small businesses, and industrial corporations in utility matters and in cases before the Missouri Public Service Commission. We have negotiated and litigated matters of rate design, revenue requirements, return on equity, tariffs, transfers of assets, and certificates of convenience and necessity. Our focus is to protect the interests of our clients while ensuring safe and adequate utility services. We have taken and defended appeals from Public Service Commission decisions in the the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District and the Missouri Supreme Court. We have served as statewide counsel for public utilities handling matters including rate cases, complaints, property negotiations, local government matters and employment actions.

The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements. Past results afford no guarantee of future results. Every case is different and must be judged on its own merits.
