 Stephanie Bell was recently elected to a one-year board term of the Jefferson City YMCA Board of Directors. Stephanie already serves on the Southern Boone YMCA Advisory Board. Stephanie also previously served on the Jefferson City YMCA auction procurement committee, which supports the organization’s Outreach Fund.
The Southern Boone Area YMCA first opened in 2015 with the support of the Jefferson City YMCA. The Southern Boone YMCA is currently planning a larger, permanent location (News Tribune). The goal for the new facility is to raise $2.8 million, with $1.1 million already raised to date.
