Marc H. Ellinger was appointed by Missouri Governor Michael L. Parson to serve on the Senate Independent Bipartisan Citizens Commission, which is tasked with redrawing lines for the 34 districts for the Missouri State Senate based on the census data from 2020.
At the first meeting of the Commission, Marc was unanimously elected as Chairman, with former state auditor Susan Montee being elected as Vice-Chairwoman. In 2012, Marc served as the Vice-Chairman of the Senate Reapportionment Commission. Marc actively practices election law, including redistricting, and also frequently speaks on the redistricting process.
