On Monday, July 11th, the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) hosted their inaugural New Regulator Training in New York City. The training is the first of it’s kind to train new gaming regulators. IMGL President, Marc Ellinger, led the innovative new training session. The full day training included discussions on how to regulate, the role of regulators, and a number of emerging issues in gaming across the United States. Attendance at the training included 25 new regulators and IMGL facilitators from more than ten United States’ gaming jurisdictions.
