Marc Ellinger will speak at the Winter Meeting of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) takes place January 4-6 in New Orleans.  Dozens of state legislators from around the country and more than two hundred attendees are expected, with the keynote presented by former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, whose arguments before the Supreme Court resulted in overturning the federal prohibition on sports betting.

Marc will join three other speakers on a panel titled “Sports Betting Laws and Regulations – What’s Working, What’s Not.” The panelists will highlight the eight states which have already implemented sports betting and review those expected to do so in 2019 – sharing real-world examples of sports-betting structures that are working and those that need reform.  The panel is part of an IMGL Masterclass.

International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) is the pre-eminent association of gaming attorneys, regulators, educators, executives and consultants from around the world who are dedicated to education and the exchange of professional information and advice. The open networking and collective experience of its members makes the IMGL an integral and effective tool for the dissemination of gaming law developments worldwide. The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements. Past results afford no guarantee of future results. Every case is different and must be judged on its own merits.
